He also specialises in advising entrepreneurs with business start-ups including the completion of bank loan proposals for new finance, personal and company pension opportunities and tax planning. |

Sean is the audit principal on some of the firm’s largest audit assignments, managing complex client relationships throughout Ireland, many with turnover in excess of €50 million. |

| Education
Sean was educated at St. Kieran’s College, Kilkenny. Following this, Sean acquired a Chartered Accountancy training position with O’Neill Foley and subsequently qualified as a Chartered Accountant. |
| Interesting Fact
Sean has a passion for all sporting activities, in particular GAA. He has represented Kilkenny at all levels of hurling and holds a number of All-Ireland medals. In recent years he has transitioned from playing into training various underage teams, giving him the opportunity to nurture the next generation of players in the skills of the game. |

Sean Ryan joined O’Neill Foley to train as a Chartered Accountant in 1990 and having pursued a successful career with the firm he was appointed Partner in 2006. Sean provides accounting, taxation and financial advice to clients across many sectors, including construction, manufacturing, medical, leisure, agricultural, retail and distribution. Sean and his team deliver a strong service-centric approach to clients, undertaking a thorough review of their businesses to deliver fully informed assessments and valuable insights into their work practices. Sean is a Fellow of Chartered Accountants Ireland (FCA) and a QFA.
